Quiet place, you know. Loved a mini bar, multi-channel television and ironing facilities in the room. Just a 10-minute stroll to the center. Breakfast was GOOD with lots of food.

Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, town center, and the harbor. Plus, there's a cool spot called Conlan's Wine Store nearby where you can kick back and relax 🍷.

Our Christmas stay had some enjoyable aspects. The breakfast was delicious and we were given a reserved table, which was a nice touch. The location was very convenient and we could easily walk to nearby restaurants. the room had everything we needed and was well-equipped.
There were some negative aspects to our stay. The open bathroom design made it uncomfortable, as there were no doors, and our room lacked a fridge until we requested one.

The attention to detail was evident with lovely special touches throughout. Moreover, the location was excellent, situated above a charming cafe where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast included with my stay. Our stay at Oak & Anchor was absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impeccable and we felt completely immersed in the relaxed holiday vibes. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the charming surroundings. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bed provided the utmost comfort. The garden bar at the back of the hotel was a delightful spot to unwind with excellent live music. The outstanding service from the staff, especially Ally, made our stay even more memorable. we had an amazing time at Oak & Anchor and highly recommend it.
One small improvement that would enhance the experience is a sliding barn door between the bedroom and bathroom to ensure privacy. Additionally, having a bench for our bags would have been convenient.

the hotel provided exclusive amenities to cater to our luxurious needs. the staff ensured our comfort and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. the sumptuous meals which were full of quality local produce were a delight. We were amazed by the serene Garden area, Leisure/ TV room, and the private facilities of the room. the location was ideal, offering the best of both worlds - convenience and tranquility.
The only minor issue we encountered was the lack of picnic area/ tables. this was not a significant setback as there were plenty of other areas for us to relax and enjoy our time here.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a charming coastal town, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I checked in until the time I checked out, everything was made convenient for self-service. The hotel may have lacked a traditional reception desk, but it was not a big issue for me. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, particularly the amazing coffee that I couldn't get enough of. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my stay was pleasant. They even provided extra treats like cookies, and made sure I had plenty of water and coffee. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The large bathroom was well-appointed and even suited for disabled individuals. Although I'm not disabled, I appreciated the thoughtfulness in its design. The location of the hotel was excellent, providing easy access to the town's attractions. Despite a minor lack of privacy with the toilet, the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room more than made up for it. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.
